Congratulation to Peter McColgan and his champion daughter in her second Olympic effort.

McColgan was born in Dundee, Scotland to Liz and Peter McColgan, both athletes. She is a member of Dundee's Hawkhill Harriers Club and is coached by her mother, former 10,000 metres World Champion and Olympic silver medallist Liz McColgan 

Ellis McColgan 26 years old and we are sure she will have betters moments to come. 

She competed for Great Britain team for the 2012 Summer Olympics in the women's 3000 metres steeplechase alongside compatriot Barbara Parker.^[Her time of 9:54.36 was not sufficient for her to reach the final.

At in the 2016 Olympics in Rio she reached the final of the Women's 5000 metres.We love this words sending to you Peter:

You all are an Olympic inspiration for us and for chasing the Olympic Dream.  

You must be so proud Peter... Let's hope the next year is injury free and she gets the rewards she deserves at the World Championships.
